ran an isolated rural hospital and clinics in Zambia for two years. For six years Patricia Napier was chairman of another charity working in Zambia, and she continues to visit the country regularly and to make extensive contacts. She is the Chairman of Governors of Dean Close School, Cheltenham.
Clare Ansell - HON. SECRETARY
was, until recently, African Policy Advisor with the development agency, ActionAid, and has 10 years' experience in development work including 18 months work in Zambia, first as VSO field staff and then as acting co-cordinator of HODI.
Perdita Hunt - TRUSTEE
is a Gallery Director with senior experience in communications, marketing and fundraising. She has worked for NGOs in the arts, heritage and the environment and has lived in a number of African countries.
Robert Napier - TRUSTEE
after 30 years as a senior industrialist, Robert spent 8 years running The World Wildlife Fund in the UK and is now Chairman of the Board of the Met. Office. He is a Trustee of a number of other charities and serves as a non-executive director on various corporate boards. He is Chairman of the Governors of Sedbergh School.
Steve Sercombe - HON. TREASURER
is a senior accountant working in industry who has worked voluntarily on a large rural project in Zambia from 1993 to 1995.
Gerard Walsh - TRUSTEE
is an international financier and business consultant active in the support of local charities and has lived in Zambia and South Africa.
